Community Excellence Awards Given to Local Businesses

Community Workforce Solutions, Inc. presented a Community Excellence award to Theo Davis Printing in Zebulon, NC and to Rescued Treasures Thrift Shoppe in Durham in recognition of their continued support.

Theo Davis Printing has demonstrated exceptional support of the mission of Community Workforce Solutions, Inc. by providing production work on a continual basis for over twenty years. The production work offers invaluable training opportunities to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment as they prepare to integrate into the community and into the workplace.  

Rescued Treasures Thrift Shoppe, part of the Durham Rescue Mission, has been a tremendous partner in supporting the individuals served by Community Workforce Solutions, Inc. by offering employment opportunities as well as a place to conduct job trials and skills assessments.

These awards were presented with a ceremony and a plaque of appreciation acknowledging their partnership with Community Workforce Solutions, Inc. to better the communities in which they serve.
