- On-Call Habilitation Technician
Would you like to make a difference in the world doing a job you can be really proud of? We are looking for a few positive, energetic, dependable direct care staff who love helping others. Need staff to work on a call-in basis in our day supports program serving adults with developmental disabilities. Must be available to work as assigned between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm. These call-in positions typically result in eventual permanent assignments. You would be assisting individuals in learning the skills necessary to obtain competitive employment in their local communities. You would also be assisting individuals in many other areas as well, to include learning employment skills, supervising their work on a daily basis, encouraging strong, positive social interaction and ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with the individual’s individualized care plan.You would have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping to enrich lives of others by being a positive role model. You will be teaching by example the many skills individuals need in order to be happy, productive members of our society.
