RALEIGH JOB POSTINGS:
- Gateway Clubhouse Coordinator
Community Workforce Solutions, a private non-profit agency, is currently seeking a full-time Clubhouse Coordinator who will be responsible for the development and implementation of a day program for persons with traumatic brain injuries using the clubhouse model. The initial responsibilities of the Clubhouse Coordinator will be to assist in securing appropriate space, securing appropriate equipment and supplies, and developing policy and procedures for the operation of the Gateway Clubhouse. Ongoing duties will include being responsible for the daily operation of the Gateway Clubhouse, including activities of staff and members; insuring appropriate documentation is completed; assuring appropriate billing is submitted; overseeing the work units; and insuring the safety and quality of the program.
Masters Degree in a related human service field and a minimum of 3 years experience providing services to persons with disabilities, and ACBIS certified (within first year) required. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education. Preference will be given to those applicants with either an LPC or LCSW, experience in a clubhouse program, and/or with knowledge of brain injuries.

Full time Job Coach needed for private, non-profit, rehabilitation agency. Responsibilities include job development and placement as well as job coaching and follow-up in Durham County. Bachelor’s degree in the human services field and at least one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Will consider equivalent education and experience. Must be willing to work some nights and weekends.

- On-Call Habilitation Technician

Need staff to work on a call-in basis in our day supports program serving adults with developmental disabilities. Must be available to work as assigned between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm. These call-in positions typically result in eventual permanent assignments. You would be assisting individuals in learning the skills necessary to obtain competitive employment in their local communities. You would also be assisting individuals in many other areas as well, to include learning employment skills, supervising their work on a daily basis, encouraging strong, positive social interaction and ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with the individual’s individualized care plan.You would have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping to enrich lives of others by being a positive role model. You will be teaching by example the many skills individuals need in order to be happy, productive members of our society.
