Community Employment Specialist

Full time CES needed for private, non-profit, rehabilitation agency. Position serves Durham County and responsibilities will include job development and placement as well as job coaching and follow-up.

Bachelor’s degree in the human services field and at least one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Will consider equivalent education and experience.

HENDERSON Job Postings:

Employment Specialist

Position works out of Henderson office serving mostly rural, four county area. Duties include individualized, community job placement, training, and long term follow-up with persons with significant disabilities or other barriers to employment.

Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in human services field and two years experience in rehabilitation or equivalent combination of education/experience. Experience in employment and/or community support preferred. Must have valid NCDL and successfully complete Core Competency training per MH/DD/SAS requirements.
